just remember to make slower calculated movements so you don;t over stretch anything. I have heard yoga helps, maybe find a pregnancy yoga class or dvd.

Congratulations!! I too had ligament pain during my pregnancy and the best thing that I did was yoga. They make videos particularly for pregnancy. It will help relax you and the stretching helps with the pain. It will also help you maintain your strength and weight that is healthy for the baby and makes it easier to lose it after you deliver. Don’t worry… it is completely normal. You will be great!!!

There isn’t really anything you can do to ease round ligament pain, as the ligaments are attached to your uterus and are going to stretch when your uterus stretches. Some women say that sleeping on their side with a pillow between their knees does help a little. As for general joint pain, staying hydrated helps, as does prenatal yoga. (If you’re going to do yoga, make sure it’s specifically prenatal or pregnancy yoga, as some of the “regular” yoga poses are dangerous for pregnant women.)

Get into a routine to do slow streches, and when you do move make sure it is not quick because that will bring it on fast. Keeping in shape will always help.
